Why were sanctions imposed on Alexander Borisovich Kogan?
Oleksandr Kogan expressed support for resolution No. 58243-8, which urges the State Duma of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation to formally request President V.V. Putin to acknowledge the sovereignty of the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic. As a result, Kogan has provided his endorsement and assistance to measures and strategies that undermine the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and independence of Ukraine, thereby exacerbating the existing instability inside the nation.
